One of my biggest disappointments with E3 this year is that I never got any hands on time with the Kinect voice and motion controlled hub.
I was given demonstrations of it which normally leaves me to believe that it isn’t working properly yet and it just wasn’t stable enough to give to cynical journalists.
But if it works as well as this video says it does then I can’t wait to try it out for real.
Yes we have all heard that Kinect doesn’t working sitting down which ruins all of this but Microsoft have stated that it will work sitting down when it gets released in November. If it doesn’t it will be a flop but let’s hope they keep their word on this one, I do think they know how serious this issue is.
Call me an old crusty git, but the prospect of shouting at or flailing about in front of my TV, like my unwashed, noisy and illiterate neighbours does not appeal to me.
