Activision latest racer from the recently acquired studio behind the famous PGR series – Bizarre creations – is currently in beta. Called blur, it’s a hybrid of frantic arcade racing with licensed cars and the power ups normally associated with kart-racing games. The beta allows you to test out six tracks across four game modes, fourteen licensed vehicles, and over thirty challenges. Players will be able to test out Blur’s Leveling Up system, which unlocks various items until Level 10 is reached. Reception of the beta has been overwhelmingly positive, and the game is being billed as an incredibly fun experience. The beta is exclusive to Xbox Live, so if you’re a 360 owner and keen for a different take on racing, hit the jump.
To get your very own beta key, all you have to do is register at the game’s official site. Step 1 Go to http://www.blurgame.com/home and register an account Step 2 Once registered, make sure you’re logged in with the specified account details and click on “My Profile” in the top right corner. Step 3 Scroll all the way down, and you should be presented with a Blur beta key, as well as a 48 hour Gold trial code for Xbox live, meaning even Silver users canget in on the action. Step 4 Redeem your key and get racing! That’s all there is to it! Go on! Get out of here and get playing one of this year’s hottest arcade racers. You don;t need the e-mail. Just log in with your details and click on “My profile,” scroll all the way to the bottom and you’re golden.
